We would like to offer you the opportunity to present a poster with your (or your group's) interesting work (must be related to GPUs or AI).
We will hold a poster session on Thursday evening during the social event. Poster presenters should stand somewhere close to their posters explaining their work, as well as answering any questions or doubts the rest of the attendees may have. Among them, an evaluation committee will walk around taking notes and asking some questions in order to evaluate the quality of the work presented.
The attendees to the poster session will be able to express their opinion regarding the quality of the posters. These votes, together with the evaluation committee's decision will be considered to select the winner of the Best Poster Award.
All PUMPS attendees can submit their poster. We will include all the posters in electronic format on the course's intranet. Among the first batch of submissions (drafts), the organizing committee will take a look at them and decide which ones make it into the poster session (accepted posters' authors will be notified)
The size for the posters must be ISO DIN A0 (841×1189 mm), and the preferred orientation is vertical.
If you are interested in presenting you will have to submit the following:
- Title
- Abstract
- Author(s): Name(s), university, advisor
- Poster in PDF (DIN A0)
- A digital picture of your face that we will put on the panel with your name, so you will recognize your designated spot and the visitors will know you are the presenter.
If your poster is selected for the poster session, you have to print the poster on your own before Thursday noon. You can bring it from home or print it in one of the printing services around the UPC campus during Tuesday or Wednesday. You will take your poster back on Saturday.
The deadlines to submit your poster are:
Draft version: June 7
Final version: June 21
Please send your poster and related information by email to pumps at bsc.es
We are very excited for this opportunity to see your interesting work.
Best of luck to all participants!
